Zumba is a cardio dance workout with Latin rhythms, hip hop and music from around the world. Yoga is about taking time for yourself, opening the body and clearing the mind. In my conditioning classes, it's all about getting strong and lean while boosting your metabolism and improving overall health.
After college, I was a core company dancer for a modern dance company called Arts United of Washington for 4 years. During that time, I taught dance in several dance studios in the Washington DC area, including Joy of Motion Dance Studio, Musical Theater Center, and the JCC of Greater Washington where I created a hip hop company and was the choreographer for the award-winning JCCGW Maccabi Dance Team. Additionally, I was a fitness instructor for the Best Friends Foundation, bringing healthy lifestyle choices, fitness, and dance to Washington DC public schools.
After DC, I moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan and became a certified Zumba instructor. There I received training in Core-Power Yoga, performed with People Dancing dance company, and taught dance, yoga, and fitness classes at the University of Michigan, Kenville Dance Studio, and Arts in Motion Dance Studio.
I moved to San Francisco three years ago and couldn't be happier teaching Zumba, Yoga, and Fitness classes for 24 Hour Fitness and UCSF at locations throughout San Francisco.
